Fourth Generation

He married three times. He married Susan Anna Roulo. Susan was born 4/11/1868. She was the daughter of Peter Francis Roulo and Margaret Jane Heide. Susan died 10/17/1899 at 31 years of age. He married Lena Mohr. Lena was born 11/25/1870. Lena died 5/22/1902 at 31 years of age. He married Anna Mohr. Anna died 7/26/1961. He was President and Manager of the Schneider Brick Co., and also Treasurer of the Stratford Theater on (Dix Ave.) W. Vernor Hwy. (currently used as a Metropolitan Outreach Center). The death notice for Joseph reads:
"PIONEER MEMBER OF REDEEMER PARISH
Funeral Service for Joseph N. Schneider, 65 years old, who died at his home, 1651 Morrell street, Tuesday of blood poisoning, will be held in Holy Redeemer church at 10 o'clock Friday morning.
"Mr. Schneider was a pioneer member of Holy Redeemer church, having been one of the group of volunteeers who dug the foundation of the modest frame church, later replaced by the brick church torn downwhen the beautiful basilica was erected.
"Infection from a splinter which he received a year ago while remodeling a building, led to Mr. Schneider's death. He leaves his widow and eight children, Martin J., Peter J., Fred A., Bernard W., Joseph N., Ralph P., Winifred and Susan."

Joseph Nicholas Schneider and Susan Anna Roulo had the following children:

65 iii. Frederick Alphonsus Schneider was born 3/15/1889. Frederick died 9/15/1968 at 79 years of age. He married twice. He married Gertrude Snyder. He married Muriel V. Lindsay. Muriel died 1946.

This is a picture of my Grand Father, Frederick Alphonsus Schneider, his second wife Gertrude (previously married to a Dr. Snieder, maiden name Dignan) and me, Michael J. Snyder.
Frederick and 1st wife Muriel had a child Marilyn Jane.
Marilyn married Jerome Francis Snyder (Jerome was the only child of Joe and Huberta [Straub] - 1925.).

66 iv. Bernard William Schneider was born 7/31/1891. He married twice. He married Francis Aley.

67 v. Joseph Nicholas Schneider II was born 9/22/1894. Joseph died 12/30/1942 at 48 years of age. He married Estelle Peltier.

68 vi. Winifred Mary Schneider was born 7/29/1896. Winifred died 6/25/1952 at 55 years of age.

69 vii. Ralph Peter Schneider, born 9/13/1905, died 4/15/1985.

70 viii. Susan Gertrude Schneider, born 12/29/1907, died 2/9/1993.
